Interax ("the App") is a drug interaction information tool developed by Metrics LLC. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

We do not collect any personal data.

• No account creation is required
• No email addresses, names, or personal identifiers are collected
• No health data is transmitted to our servers
• No tracking cookies or analytics pixels are used
• No data is sold to third parties

Local Storage

Your medication list ("My Medications") is stored exclusively on your device using local storage (browser localStorage or device AsyncStorage). This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.

Drug Data Sources

The App queries publicly available databases to provide drug interaction information:

• FDA Adverse Event Reporting System (FAERS) via OpenFDA API
• PubMed / National Library of Medicine
• RxNorm drug nomenclature
• ClinicalTrials.gov
• DailyMed drug labels

Drug search queries are sent to our server to fetch results from these databases. These queries contain only drug names — no personal or health information.

AI Chat Feature

The AI analysis feature processes questions using a local language model hosted on our server. Chat messages are not stored permanently, not used for training, and not shared with third parties. Messages are processed in real-time and discarded after the response is generated.

Interax is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. The information provided is for educational and informational purposes only. It is based on publicly available FDA data and published research. Always consult a licensed healthcare professional before making any medication decisions.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
